Dance Marathon

Mizzou Dance Marathon is the largest student-led philanthropy at the University of Missouri. It works with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to raise money for MU Children's Hospital. Dance Marathon is a yearlong effort that culminates with the Main Event. The Main Event requires that dancers stand for 13.1 hours. To pass the time, live entertainment is provided throughout the event in addition to a DJ. Live entertainment includes performances by local bands, Tiger X instructors, university dance and theatre groups, Dance Marathon Miracle Family speakers, and many more exciting acts.

Participants dance today for more tomorrows, and everything Dance Marathon does is FTK: For the kids! In 2012, Mizzou DM raised more than $78,000 and in 2013, Mizzou DM broke records by raising over $150,000 in one year.
